Cradle Cap: What I Find Risky!

informed about the effectiveness of homely remedies for treating cradle cap, I tried them and found them somehow risky. Commercial lotions are free from it.

Very often it is said that the neonatal disease known as cradle cap can be managed well with homely remedies. In fact, it is a skin condition and largely harmless. It is not caused by any infection and there is no chance that it would contaminate others. Yet, I do not prefer using the homely remedies. They may cure the disease but always not above risk.

Rather, I find it better and safer to use commercial lotions to manage cradle cap well. These lotions are made as per the suggestion of the specialists and exclusively meant for the disease. Hence, they will be helpful in managing cradle cap but will not cause any harmful reaction. Unlike the homely remedies, there is no risk involved in using these lotions.
